Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Melon at melon.rsvp. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy.

The service

Melon lets you create online invitations, send them to people you choose, and collect RSVPs. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

Your account

You’re responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your password secure. Provide accurate information, and let us know if you suspect unauthorized access. You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent where you live) to use Melon.

Inviting guests & acceptable use

You may only add contact details for people you actually intend to invite, and you confirm you have a legitimate basis to contact them. You agree not to use Melon to send spam, harassment, or unlawful, deceptive, or harmful content, to upload others’ personal data without a proper basis, or to violate any applicable anti-spam or privacy laws (such as CAN-SPAM, CASL, or GDPR). Melon is for genuine invitations — not bulk marketing.

Your content

You keep ownership of the content you create — your events, messages, and guest lists. You grant us only the limited permission needed to host and process that content in order to provide the service to you (for example, storing it and delivering the emails you send).

Availability

We work to keep Melon running smoothly, but the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We don’t guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that every email will be delivered (deliverability depends on factors outside our control).

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Melon and its operators won’t be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or profits arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service.

Termination

You can stop using Melon and delete your account — and all associated data — at any time from your Account page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that put the service or other users at risk.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll update the date above and make a reasonable effort to let you know. Continuing to use Melon after changes means you accept the updated terms.
